  • Do you offer youth hunts?

    While we welcome youth in camp, we do not have a specific youth hunt.

  • Do you allow non hunting companions?

    Yes, we do for an added cost. Wives are welcome also.

  • Do you do airport pickup?

    No

  • Which airport do you recommend?

    If you want more direct flights Denver, CO is a 4 1/2 hr drive. 


    Rapid City, SD is a 3 hr drive.

  • Do you hunt public ground?

    No.

  • Can you sit on bait piles?

    No.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept checks, but they require tracking when mailing. Venmo and credit cards are also accepted, but will incur a 3.5% fee. 

  • Do you have payment plans?

    Yes, our payment plans are flexible. They require a 25% deposit and has to be up to 50% deposit 1 year from hunt and hunt total is due July 1 of year you hunt.

  • Is there a taxidermist available?

    Yes, and they do require a deposit.

  • Is there a meat processor?

    No, however our guides will debone and bag the meat for you. We do also have donation forms to donate your meat.

  • Do you ship meat?

    No we do not. However once the meat is deboned we can freeze it so you can take it home with you.

  • Can you have a 1:1 guide?

    Yes, a 1:1 guide can be added to any hunt for an additional cost.

  • Do you offer veteran or service discounts?

    Yes, we give you a free 1:1 upgrade as small token of our thanks for your service.

  • Do you offer unguided hunts or trespass fees?

    Absolutely not, no exceptions.

  • What age class of mule deer do you target?

    We target mature bucks.

  • What age class of whitetail do you target?

    There are no restrictions on whitetails.

  • Are there trophy fees?

    No.

  • How do you hunt Mule deer?

    We hunt spot and stalk style, which involves a lot of sitting and glassing. It does also involve some walking.

  • How far do you have to walk while hunting?

    You will have to walk up to a mile or more.

  • How do you hunt whitetails?

    Spot and stalk in the morning and ground sits in the afternoon.

  • What caliber of rifle do you recommend?

    Any rifle you feel comfortable with. The average rifle shot is 150 yards.

  • Is blaze orange required for rifle season?

    Yes, head and chest covered is required.

  • How far will an archery shot for a deer be?

    Compound bows are 40 yards or less and crossbows are 50 yards or less.

  • What camo do you recommend?

    For early season, we like green such as Sitka sub-alpine, for October and late season we like brown such as Sitka Waterfowl pattern.


    Any camo that you have works as long as it is not noisy.
