This years rifle season proved to be a huge success for many hunters including Fred Eichler. Eichler and hunting companion Jason Nickerson , both scored big this year in Nebraska during the rifle season in November. Fred was up first and scored a buck with a drop main beam that offered him a optimal shot opportunity at 140 yards on the first day. Of course Fred connected on his first shot and the pictures and the fun began. Did you think he would miss or just give a sporting warning shot, not happnin!!!! Jason was up the next day and was ready to get out in the field and begin his hunt for his Nebraska trophy mule deer. It didn't take long to spot the trophy mule deer and the hunt was on with some walking, crawling, and perfect placement for his opportunity at his Nebraska trophy mule deer. One shot from his rifle and the big Nebraska mule deer was down, and the celebration began. Both hunters had scored by noon of the second day and that's when the work begins. Congrat's to both hunters on their trophy mule deer bucks and you will get to see both hunts next year on Easton hunting. Hope everyone had a safe, fun ,and successful hunt this year.
