Deer Hunting
Sheridan County, in the beautiful northwest part of Nebraska,
offers a hunt to remember. The scenic sandhills along
the wide-open meadows are a hunter's paradise. We lease
over 170,000 acres of privately owned prime hunting ground.
Our goal is to give you a hunting experience that can't
be matched.
Guides
Our guides have extensive knowledge of the deer herds
and their movements. We scout and monitor the deer
patterns
to offer you only the best opportunities. We provide transporation
to and from the lodge and will be with you every step
of the way. We will also care for your trophy after it's
down. Professionally performed caping and skinning of
your game will be provided. After your trophy is cared
for, you can relax in our beautiful lodge or you can throw
in a shotgun and take advantage of our great duck and
grouse hunting.
Rifle Hunts
Our rifle season starts in the middle of November and
runs for nine days through the main rut for Nebraska.
This hunt is very rewarding. On our two ranches with over
170,000 acres, we keep the number of hunters to a minimum
to give everyone plenty of room to roam. Our guides will
go two hunters per guide. The hunt is for trophy bucks
only. A trophy is considered to be a 3 1/2 year old buck
or better. Call early for reservations, as this hunt books

Bow Hunts
Our archery season runs from mid-September through the
end of the year. The weather is warm in September and
October, then changes in November and December. Either
way, the hunting is great and done from ground blinds
or portable tree stands.
Muzzleloader Hunts (more
on muzzleloader hunts)
Our black powder season runs the entire month of December.
The deer feed and move about most of the day. You can
hunt from a stand, or spot and stalk. The temperature
at this time of year is usually cold, so dress warm.
